Buck or Die Training Camp

Is in place to train dancers between the ages 3 and 18 to give them exposure to the majorette dance style. So many dancers watched the Dancing Dolls on Lifetime's hit television show “Bring It!” and aspired to become majorette dancers, however, they are unsure of what the style is and exactly what to do. Our training camp circuit exposes these dancers to the majorette dance style and gives them the opportunity to perform and train with no pressure of being perfect and simply attending to have fun. Auditioning for a dance team could provide a lot of pressure and anxiety, and within our training camps, our dancers can come and learn the style with no experience necessary. Dancers come from all over and travel to the training camp site to train with the alumni members of the Dancing Dolls in different styles and categories. These categories are, but are not limited to: Hip Hip, Majorette, Field Show, Parade and Stand Battle.
The dancers will participate in a 2 day training camp and a one day performance. During the training camp, these dancers will learn choreography in all of the categories that they will be performing in on the final day. These categories are Field Show, Hip Hop, Parade and STand Battle. These dancers that participate also have the opportunity to train alongside of the Dancing Dolls in performance prep, prep and formation acquirement, they receive Two training camp T-shirts, One training camp dance bag, A private meet and greet, a Q & A session, receive a private photo opportunity in Group photo, an individual photo, receive an autograph signed poster and an autograph signed T-shirt.

The training that takes place for these dancers begins promptly at 9:00 AM and ends at.5:00 PM daily. The dancers receive 8 hours of training for two days (1 hour for lunch)  and on the final day of training camp they have a full performance that takes place in the exact same setting as any normal competition. Although our training camp participants are not competing, they receive and feel the exact same excitement that the Dancing Dolls feel when they get ready to perform at any event or competition. During the final day of training camp, which we consider show day, these performers and campers perform three times throughout the show, which includes their stand battle competition, which is team versus team during training camp.

Training camp is an exciting experience that we have added to our national competition circuit where the dancers perform at the competition in front of large crowds as the special guest performers. Some of our training camp students are performing for the very first time ever, and this really gives you a litmus test to determine whether or not your dancer is ready to audition for a dance team. Being a part of any athletic program requires a certain level of commitment, and these three days will let you know whether or not your dancer is committed enough to participate on a dance team on a regular basis. Even if you're a dancer has no desire to be a part of a dance team, this gives them the opportunity to participate in something amazing and exciting for a weekend and will have lifelong experiences and lifelong memories to go alongside of this once in a lifetime opportunity. So many want to train alongside the Dancing Dolls and see what it feels like to hit the floor with the team, and our training camp gives them this exact opportunity.
